Sovereign Hill Education has designed three teacher directed activities/challenges for year 9 students to complete during a visit to Sovereign Hill. All require students to take photos that reveal evidence which answers a set of questions based on the year 9 Depth Studies.
Teachers may have students use these photos to form a visual essay or presentation to be completed back at school. Alternatively they might adopt a competitive approach to the activity (Rush Around the Hill) to be completed while on excursion.

The activities are designed to fit with the AusVELS History Year 9 Depth studies Making a Modern World and Australia and Asia.

There are 3 challenges teachers can choose from. (Students complete only ONE)
