It is an excellent resource for the Victorian Essential Learning Standards and for the Australian Curriculum cross curriculum priority of Asia and Australia’s Engagement with Asia. The kit should be used in conjunction with these two documents.

Interpreting History at Sovereign Hill for Year 9

Students develop a movie, Powerpoint, model, soundscape or other presentation in response to a theme of their choice. (Some suggested themes prompt higher level thinking). Sovereign Hill is used as both a research and a presentation tool

Most knowledge standards allow for an Australian or an Asian perspective.
